Casey Middle School journalists live in Boulder Colorado. As part of instructor Lee Lazar's journalism class, they choose their own topics and then do research about them and plan and guide their stories. Casey Guidance Counselor Carla Friedli meets with the team weekly to facilitate ideas and discussions. To assist with this project, the Casey students wrote a grant to the Youth Opportunities Advisory Board for equipment and editorial assistance. Thanks to YOAB for their generous grant.
